Dutch player hits record hundred
Van Bunge, 21, is in his second year on the MCC staff and was the youngest member of the Holland side at the 2003 World Cup, having been part of their international side since 2002. He made his mark in the World Cup with a score of 62 v India, his highest score in an international, and taking 3 for 16 v England, being the wickets of Nick Knight, Michael Vaughan and Andrew Flintoff. Previous MCC Young Cricketers have included Ian Botham, Martin Crowe, Mark Waugh and ECC's very own Philip Hudson. Hot news: Daan has been rewarded for his efforts by being selected by Middlesex CCC for their Twenty20 campaign in July. We wish him the best of luck. |
