Tim Lamb Leaves ECB

Tim LambTim Lamb, Chief Executive of the ECB, left his position at the end of September. Tim had represented Europe on the ICC Development Committee and had been a member of the ECC Executive Committee since the ECC’s inception in 1997.

Just before Tim left, the Europe Office staff presented him with a print of Lord’s to thank him on behalf of the ECC for all his support for cricket in Europe. Tim thanked everyone and expressed the hope that cricket continued to go from strength to strength throughout Europe.

Until the new Chief Executive is appointed, Keith Pont, ECB Director of Development, will take Tim’s place on the ECC Executive Committee and John Wright, Secretary of the Irish Cricket Union, will represent Europe on the ICC Development Committee.

We all hope Tim enjoys a well earned break from cricket and wish him well for the future.
