In recent weeks, Nirvam Shah has exploded into form with the bat. Playing for Indian Under 15s in the Dutch competition,
Nirvam has made scores of 119*, 118*, 63, 8, 87 & 120*. Not bad for a 14 year old!
He also scored 156 in a friendly against 12 Stars. Nirvam has ben selected for the European Under 15 tournament
in Italy in August and also for the ICC World Cup Qualifying Under 19 tournament in Scotland in late July.
Nirvam recently took part in the ECC's Centre of Excellence course at Bradfield and received some excellent coaching.
It seems that the ECC coaches did a great job!
The BCF has some exciting junior players coming through the ranks.
All this is very encouraging for the future of Belgian cricket.
