For the second time in less than 12 months a natural disaster has wreaked massive devastation in cricketing countries,
once again with a dreadful human toll in terms of death, injuries and destruction of homes, sources of income and vital infrastructure.
This time an earthquake has affected mainly Pakistan and a part of India.
By today the toll in Pakistan alone had reached 33,000 dead and torrential rains were bringing rescue and assistance to a halt.

Cricket Belgium would like to make a contribution to the aid effort in whatever way it can. For this reason,
given the weather conditions and the great goodwill of Dennis and the lads at Antwerp CC,
we will be holding an outdoor Sixes competition at Rumst, this coming Sunday, October 16.
Matches will start at 9.45 am and the day will be finished before 7 pm because of failing light.
Further details will be available once we know how many teams are entering.

Enter the Cricket Belgium Relief Sixes:

Cost: 120 euro per team with all monies going to the relief effort
Donations: Make a donation by direct crediting the BCF account (reference Relief Fund) or make a donation on the day.

Cricket Belgium will do its best to ensure that all teams with special circumstances such as fasting
and traveling distances are consulted with regard to times of matches, etc.
