Umpires Course to be held in March

Cricket Umpires Course 2006
The IoM Cricket Umpires Association intends to run a training course for umpires in March/April this year.
The proposal is to hold a 2 hour session on each Wednesday evening for 6 weeks, commencing on 1st March.
The venue will be Vagabonds Rugby Clubhouse at the Grandstand ( Mike Hailwood Centre ).
This course is available, free of charge, to anyone who wishes to attend; anyone who may be considering taking up umpiring, unqualified umpires who wish to obtain formal qualification or players who think they may benefit from a greater depth of knowledge of the Laws.
On completion of the course, application can be made to sit the ACU&S GL6 examination (the first step on the ladder to becoming a fully qualified umpire). This examination requires that all candidates are or have applied for ACU&S membership.
