SCF champions again.  Sporting Club Français won the NatWest Weekend League title for the sixth time in seven years on Saturday 8th Julyl.Mathew Hague's side defeated second-placed Romerils by seven wickets at Les Quennevais to record their ninth consecutive Premier Division win of the season.
And it was captain Hague who led from the front, steering his side to victory in 28 overs chasing Romerils' 133 all out in 41.4 overs on pitch one.
Hague said: 'I think it was a good toss to lose, the wicket did look as if it had a bit in and I'm glad we did not bat first.
'I said to my bowlers to bowl on the spot; they did that and it worked for us. We bowled a good line and length and we were rewarded.
'We had a good start and overall I think we valued our wickets more. I felt good, I was seeing it well and although there were difficult balls to face I was reasonably happy that I applied myself well.'
Nick Jewell again bowled tidily for the new champions by taking four wickets for 24 runs in nine overs.
