Norway always looked in control of the match after getting off to a great 110-1 start, whilst Jersey never really got going, they were 108-5 before finishing 201 all out in 46.4 overs.

Semi-Final

Jersey beat Germany by 6 wickets to secure a place in the final of the 2006 European 2nd Division Championship.

Germany opened the batting and scored 212-7 in their allotted 50 overs, with Jersey skipper Matt Hague and Tony Carlyon both claiming two German wickets.

Peter Gough, Jersey's opening batsman, was the island's top scorer with 59 runs to his name, with Matt Hague behind him on 45 and David Morfee 37 not out.

German left-hand bowler Mian Eksan Latif proved most dangerous to Jersey, claiming 3 of their 4 fallen wickets.

The island team will now face Norway in the final later today.
