STANDARD BANK COUNTY CRICKET FESTIVAL 2007.

August 27 to 31, 2007 in Jersey, Channel Islands.

Competing for the Standard Bank Trophy.

This high quality Under 16 County Festival has been running successfully for over 20 years. Teams from various first class and minor counties have played in the Festival, some for many years.

Jersey is a lovely Island with excellent air and sea links with the UK and Europe. The cricket facilities are very good with all matches played on grass pitches

Teams look to arrive on August 26 and depart on September 01. Matches are played each day from Monday to Friday inclusive. Teams arrange their own flights/ferries and accommodation, usually on a bed and breakfast basis (we can put you in touch with friendly tour operator) and the only other expenses are evening meals and a contribution towards coach transport during the week of approximately £200.00. All the other cricket expenses are managed through sponsorships.

We currently have Middlesex, Yorkshire, Wales, Hampshire, Sussex, Berkshire and the Channel Islands confirmed for 2007 which means we have space for 1 more team.
