France will play a 2-day match against neighbours Belgium at Saumur, the nearest turf wicket to Paris, on the weekend of 26-27 May.
Both nations have decided on this format of the game to provide their players with the opportunity to expand their cricketing abilities and to gain valuable experience on a grass wicket. The match will consist of 102 overs per day and will prepare them for playing longer formats of the game such as 50 over matches in official ECC European Championships compared to 35 over matches that are currently conducted in France's national leagues.
