Elizabeth College beat Victoria College by 70 runs

Elizabeth College 1st XI continued their impressive season to date with a convincing 70-run away win over Jersey's Victoria College.
Batting first in a 58/52 over split match format, Elizabeth College were all out for 213 in 52 overs, with opener Chris Whitworth securing the addition of his name to the honours board at Guernsey's College Field pavilion with 112. Victoria's main wicket-takers were Will Golder (3 for 50) and n Sharma (3 for 59). In reply, Victoria were all out for 143 in 48 overs with Tim Ravenscroft taking 5 for 68 in 17.2 overs with his off-breaks and paceman Peter Le Hegarat taking 3 for 23 in 11 overs.
The return fixture is in Guernsey in June.
