Elizabeth College do the double over Victoria College

Guernsey's Elizabeth College sealed an impressive 2007 "double" over Jersey's Victoria College with a comprehensive 8-wicket home win at College Field. The results could well have a form bearing on next month's ECC Second Division Under-19 tournament in Jersey, with so many players from both sides likely to feature.
The match was reduced due to morning rain and Victoria made 158 for 9 in 36 overs, N Sharma top-scoring with 43 not out while Mark Chipperfield made 35. Tim Ravenscroft returned figures of 3 for 53 for Elizabeth College. Despite losing two early wickets the home side got home with 8 wickets in hand and with 7 overs to spare, with Tim Ravenscroft making 63 not out and Jonny Warr supporting well with an unbeaten 49.
