Congratulations to Eymet for hosting a grand event and in some style. Clin: your hard work on the ground has paid off handsomely, with more green than I have ever seen.
Chris West (45) and Nasir (36) got Tarn off to a solid start. Zeeshan chipped in 32 and Ashu went, for once, cheaply (20). They all ran hard to turn singles into 2's and reached 175-4 in their 40. Malinga took 2-29 off 6.

Extended interval for lunch-tea and an animated junior match-let, led by Tim Williams.

Jitesh and Nafees in their first spell kept USCA down to around 3 an over and things looked bright, but some catches went to ground and left-handed opener Malinga (the same!) finally fell lbw to Jitesh on a very strong 97. Other opener Damien finished on 55 not out; with USCA's number 3 whacking a big 6 for the winner, at 179-1 off 33.

Excellent atmosphere on and off the pitch; champagne corks popping after.

---Update about semi-final---

At Damazan:
Tarn batted first and scored 251 for 4 in their 40 overs. Ashu a remarkable 90 not out.
Balbynien 93 opened strongly but finished on 170 all out in 33.1. Jitesh 4 for 47 off 6.1 overs.
A game played in excellent spirit; a credit to both sides.

At St Aulaye:
Bordeaux had USCA in some difficulty early on, but USCA finished on 186 for 9.
In reply, Bordeaux were all out for 63.
No performance data to hand yet.

All set for a cracking final at Eymet: TARN Vs USCA
