ZUOZ SERVES UP FANTASTIC FESTIVAL

The schoolboys pipped Italian side Idle Lodi to the trophy after two days of intense games played amongst some spectacular mountain scenery in good weather conditions.
Switzerland was also represented by league sides Basel CC and Winterthur CC plus the welcome addition of a Swiss under-19 national side. The other teams to make up a multi-national line-up were Munich, Milan and a German under-19 side.
Despite finishing in the bottom place after three defeats, the Swiss under-19s picked up valuable experience and pushed a makeshift Winterthur side to the last over of a thrilling match on the Saturday. But win, lose or draw - the festival, as always, was about participating and making friends.
Lyceum played perfect host to the teams and supporters that enjoyed the cricket played on one of the best facilities in Switzerland. For the record, after Lyceum and Idle Lodi, Basel came third, Munich fourth, Germany under-19s fifth, Winterthuir sixth, Milan seventh and the Swiss under-19s eighth.
