Danny Kniveton shines as Crosby lose opening tour game in Jersey

Yesterday (Saturday) Crosby lost the first match of their tour of Jersey when they were defeated by Sporting Club Francais.
The home side made 233 with States player Ryan Driver hitting 83. There were two wickets each for Dave Picking, Gareth Rowlands and Danny Kniveton.
In reply Crosby made a solid start and had reached 73 for 2, mainly thanks to a good partnership between Asanka de Silva and Danny Kniveton. Then Asanka was dismissed for 13 and Danny went for an excellent 53.
The rest of the side ran into trouble against some hostile bowling and Crosby ended on 89 all out.
This afternoon (Sunday) they meet Sporting Club again in a Twenty20 match.
