Busy season for Guernsey's senior cricketers

Guernsey's senior cricketers have a very busy year in 2008, with the primary event being the ICC Europe Second Division Championships which the island is hosting from August 18th-23rd. The other competing teams are Jersey, France, Germany, Gibraltar and Croatia.
In preparation for that tournament Manager Dave Hearse and coaches Keith Greenfield, Andy Cornford and Jeremy Frith have eight challenging fixtures lined up, as follows:-
April 26th v Jersey (in Jersey)
April 27th v Jersey (in Jersey)
May 20th v Bahamas (Port Soif)
May 21st v Nepal (KGV)
June 27th v MCC (Port Soif)
July 25th v Sussex CCC Academy (Hove)
July 27th v Sussex League Representative XI (Chichester)
August 9th v Jersey (in Jersey)
To round off the season Guernsey will look to defend their Twenty20 Inter-Insular title against Jersey at KGV on 4th October.
