Island Under 17 Squad announced

Island CDO, Gareth Dawson has announced his squad for the ECC Under 17 tournament to take place in Germany between 9th and 15th of August 2008. The squad comprises a majority of players who performed so creditably in achieving 3rd place in last year’s European Under 15 Championship in La Manga.
The squad is:- Max Stokoe, Alex Stokoe, Luke Lacey, Alasdair Slack, Mikey Callister, Zaeem Jafri, Richard Foden (all Cronkbourne CC), Sam Walker, Daniel Hawke, Kriss Mann, James Salmon, Bradley Marshall (all Castletown CC), Andrew Brown (Finch Hill CC) & Jack Rowlands (Crosby CC).
Training times are Sunday nights at 6.30 commencing 11th May at Cronkbourne. They may move to Fridays, pending ground availability, but CDO Gareth Dawson will advise accordingly.
