Commentary:
After 18 overs, Bordeaux were 72 for 6..... So, they scored 99 for the last 4 wickets, thanks to
David Smallwood’s own 35 and his ability to keep his partners at the crease (notably Ian Snook, with his 37). “Extras” was also a high-scorer!
Tarn, in their turn, kept ahead of Bordeaux’s run-rate up until over 24, without losing so manywickets. But they will want to forget the last 5.5 overs, when they lost 6 wickets for just 16 runs, all of Hugo Pinsent’s wickets coming in these last overs.
Bordeaux now await the outcome of the Ile-de-France play-off to know who their opponetns will be, at Château Giscours on 21
