The Tournament
Antwerp, Belgium 13-21 August 2005.
- Competing countries: Belgium, Croatia, Finland, Hellas, Isle of Man, Malta, Norway Portugal, Spain.
- Winners and runners-up (Norway and Hellas) qualified for the 2006 European Championship Division 2.
- 3rd-7th countries (Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Malta, Croatia) remained in the new 2007 European Championship Division 3.
- 8th-9th place (Isle of Man, Finland) were relegated to the new 2006 European Championship Division 4.
Tournament Structure
- Group A: Croatia, Norway, Spain
- Group B: Belgium, Finland, Malta
- Group C: Hellas, Isle of Man, Portugal
These three groups of teams played a round-robin in Phase 1. The top 2 in each group carried forward points from their Phase 1 game to the Super 6 phase and did not play each other again. in the Super 6 each team played against all the other teams (4 matches per team). The 3rd place teams from Phase 1 played each other twice to determine positions 7-9.
