European Indoor Championships 2006

Denmark are champions for the third time in 4 years!

Denmark beat Championship holders Hellas by 41 runs in the final at Lord's to become the ECC European Indoor Champions 2006. This is the 3rd time that Denmark have taken the title, their previous successes coming in 2003 and 2004. Denmark made 103-5 in their 10 overs and Hellas replied with 62-5 from 6.2 overs.

In a keenly fought contest, Denmark, undefeated in the tournament, headed the following final table:

1st: Denmark
2nd: Hellas
3rd: Portugal
4th: France
5th: Belgium
6th: Finland
7th: The Netherlands
8th: Luxembourg

The MCC Spirit of Cricket Award was won by Finland. Player of the Tournament was Hellas captain Georgios Stogiannos.
