Cricketers and supporters in the Malaga area had a great day on Saturday 22nd November. The day started with the locals and the Fun Loving Cricketers, a touring team from Bridgend, Wales, watching England win the Rugby Union World Cup, over a breakfast organised by the Coin, Alhaurin, Cartama (CAC) Cricket Club. The two sides then played a match, which, unfortunately, was rained off halfway through.

An unexpected bonus, however, was the earlier-than-scheduled arrival of Adam Hollioake and his band of intrepid charity cyclists, who duly put in an appearance at the ground, much to the delight of the players, spectators and the land owner.

The whole ground stood and applauded them as they left. In the evening, a Charity Dinner held to raise funds for "The Ben Hollioake Fund" was attended by a crowd of 37 and 820 Euros were raised.
