After the `Imagination' Roadshow finale in Paris, Richard Beghin (Flicx) and Alex Oltmans (Mechelen CC) drove up to Mechelen, where club chairman Ozzie was presented with the Flicx pitch which the club had won as a result of the tremendous effort put into developing the game there. This was the first time Richard had attended an award ceremony at midnight on a Sunday after a four-hour drive from France. Following the handing over ceremony, the floodlights were switched on to reveal that the local hares had inhabited the wet and flooded fields. It was decided not to disturb them further. A special dinner had been laid on at the local Chinese restaurant - the only place open at 1am on a Monday morning!

After Belgium, Richard headed on to the Netherlands to present the Flicx roadshow trailer to Alex de la Mar in Amsterdam. It was agreed that the trailer would be used for the development of cricket in the Netherlands for the next six months, with Flicx International also donating half a Flicx Pitch.
