Day-Night Final for ICC Champions Trophy

The final of September's ICC Champions Trophy will be played as a day-night game at Colombo's Premadasa stadium. Nine of the tournament's 15 matches will be day-night fixtures at Premadasa, adding variety and atmosphere to the tournament. A revised match schedule includes means that hosts Sri Lanka will open the tournament with their game against Pakistan on Thursday, 12th September. Each of the 12 competing nations will play two games in the Pool stage of the tournament between 12 and 23 September. The semi finals will take place on Wednesday 25 and Friday 27, with the final scheduled for Sunday 29 September. The revised match schedule is now as follows:
