Following an invitation from Warwickshire CCC Director of Cricket Richard Cox, Leinster Cricket Union's Development Officer Br̀an O'Rourke recently spent three days working with various youth squads at Edgbaston. As well as spending time at the new offices located at the new Indoor School of Excellence, situated within the Edgbaston ground, Br̀an worked with the Warwickshire U16 squad who had just commenced their summer programme.

Br̀an was very impressed with both the development work currently being carried out by the ECB, and the playing standard of some of the Warwickshire batsmen. The most impressive player on view was England U15 left hand batsman Moin Munir, who scored 160 in their two-day game against Somerset.
The Warwickshire women's squad recently toured Dublin and their girls' U13s will visit Dublin again in August. It is hoped that a boys Leinster U15s trip to Birmingham can be arranged for next July.
