Over the weekend 8/9 December, the EDM and Tournament Referee, David Jukes, spent a full weekend assessing all facilities to be used at the forthcoming 12-team Indoor Championships in Mechelen, Belgium.

The standard of all facilities and accommodation viewed were impressive and the close proximity from airport to hotel to playing venues augurs well for the tournament. Added to this, a host organising committee comprising a number of experienced people will ensure another well-run and enjoyable tournament.

Final details were confirmed and countries will very shortly receive an information brief from the Chairman of the BCF, who, on top of acting as guide/driver all weekend, hosted the BCF's annual prize giving ceremony at his home on the Saturday night.

A busy weekend yet one which has left all parties confident that arrangements for this important tournament are in an advanced staged of planning.
