Successful Season in Finland

SKK beat league leaders Helsinki by 5 wickets in the final of the FCA league at the Ruskeasuo ground on 1 September 2001, rounding off a highly successful season in Finland with more players participating than ever before A new women's team, touring visitors from the UK, Singapore and Estonia, and positive performance from the national squad at the ECC Trophy in Austria. FCA chairman Andrew Armitage topped the batting averages at the end of the season, with 44.50, with J Steynberg topping the bowling table with an average of 9.38.
