Over the past month, members of both the Irish senior and U19 squads have been practising in the new indoor facility at North County, which has been partly funded by the EDP.

Although the complex is still several months away from completion, the sessions have been used mainly for batting skills work along with some fitness work. Next season the senior squad has fixtures against Zimbabwe, South Africa, ECB, Club Cricket Conference, Free Foresters, MCC and Hertfordshire, before departing to Los Angeles for the World League (Division 2) in September.
