On Tuesday 15 May, the Europe Office had a visit from Alum Bati, the driving force behind cricket in Azerbaijan.

He and Ian Stuart discussed development initiatives as well as equipment and facilities, which are in short supply in Azerbaijan.

It was Alum's first visit to Lord's for 20 years, and he certainly chose his day well - the sun made a rare appearance and the ground was bustling in preparation for the England vs Pakistan Test.
