During a visit to the Netherlands over the weekend of 11-12 January, the EDM, together with Alex de la Mar (CEO, KNCB) and David Jukes (Tournament Director) conducted the draw for this season's ICC European U19 World Cup Qualifier at KNCB headquarters.

Representatives of the Dutch umpiring association met following the draw and appointed Mr ED Ohm as Principal Umpire. John Holder (Test and 1st Class umpire) would also be available to umpire during the first week of the tournament.

The EDM, David Jukes, Alex de la Mar, and Tournament Organiser Wim Neleman inspected facilities at VRA, Kampong and Deventer - three of the venues to be used for the tournament ñ and met personnel from the clubs.
