The EDM, accompanied by Richard O'Sullivan (Tournament Referee), visited Corfu between 29 May-1 June to inspect the facilities to be used during the forthcoming ECC U17B Tournament.

The EDM was impressed by the efforts being made to ensure the success of this tournament, and visited both the Liston (Town) Ground and the Marina Ground that will be used during the tournament.

Meetings were held with the organising committee and the President of the HCF, which provided a useful insight into development in Corfu and plans to develop cricket further on the mainland.

With the temperatures in the mid 30's - the heat will certainly prove challenging for the u17's in early July. However the thought of returning to the hotel accom on the beach should ease the minds and provide for a highly enjoyable experience.
