Phil Gooda is pleased and proud to announce the official formation of a Swiss Umpires and Scorers organisation.

At a recent meeting in Z¸rich, a Constitution was accepted and the go-ahead was given for the myriad necessary details to be put in train.

The organisation is called the "Swiss Federation of Cricket Umpires and Scorers", Swiss FOCUS or sFOCUS for short.

Administered by an Executive, Swiss FOCUS will be run initially by:

Chairman:		Ted Anderson
Secretary/Treasurer:	Phil Gooda
Executive members:	Richard Thomas, Pat Coyle

Phil would personally like to thank everyone who made the effort to bring this about. It's early days yet, but this is a positive step in the right direction.
