The winners of the Greek Kwik Cricket Schools Tournament, which took place in Thessaloniki last May, visited Corfu to play against the Corfiot winners on Saturday 13 October. On the Sunday they visited the Marina ground and watched the semi-final of the Hellenic Cup, between Feax and Gymnastikos. Four PE teachers who attended last years coaching seminar in Thessaloniki accompanied the children, and were given their first opportunity to see a real cricket match!

The President of the Hellenic Cricket Federation and his colleague Mr. Stogianos visited Thessaloniki the following weekend for a number of cricket-related meetings with an Englishman who is going to found a new cricket club in Thessaloniki, with someone from the university to discuss books, equipment and cricket lessons, and with someone involved with rugby and baseball to discuss a ground in Thessaloniki. The final of the Hellenic Cup, won by Feax who defeated Achilleas, also took place on Sunday 21 October, rounding off a busy couple of weeks for Greek cricket.
