Cricket Day in Austria got off to an early start with the European Development Manager, World Development Manager, and Tournament Referee for the forthcoming ECC Trophy, David Jukes, arriving by 8:00am to inspect the planned site for Concordia CC in Vienna.   • Starting next season, cricket will be taught at the University of Thessaloniki. The President, Mr Himarios, Vice President, Mr Parginos, and board member, Mr Stogianos attended the schools' Kwik Cricket tournament in Thessaloniki on 25-27 May, and had a meeting with the President of the University who informed them that cricket will be on the curriculum next season. 120 youngsters from twelve schools participated in the tournament, the winners of which will travel to Corfu to play against schools there.
