  • Congratulations to Dr Bryan Pattison of the Swiss Cricket Association, who was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours list. Bryan, who was involved in the founding of the Swiss Cricket Association back in 1980 and was Honourary Secretary of the Association until 2000, was awarded the distinction (Order of the British Empire) for serving British interests in Switzerland.
  • Neil Foster recently spent a successful weekend in Ireland, working with 12 U15 bowlers on the Saturday, and a mixed group of seniors and U19s on the Sunday.

    Following meetings between the EDM, Don Keiller of Anglia Polytechnic University and Chris Scott, Cambridge Universities Centre of Cricketing Excellence (CUCCE) Coach, a Sports Scholarship scheme involving APU and the ICC European Development Program has been agreed, offering young cricketers from around Europe the opportunity to study in Cambridge and play First Class cricket against English County sides on the famous Fenners ground.
