Ray Holyer

Qualifications:
A Full (Qualified) Member of ACU&S since 1976. Grade 1 Instructor since 1979 for both Umpires and Scorers. Approved ECB Instructor for new and prospective First Class Umpires.
Originator and past Chairman of the South Coast Panel of Cricket Umpires and Scorers. Has held many positions on the Southern Premier Cricket League and Hampshire Cricket League Committees with a special interest in Discipline and Rules. Currently Chairman of the Combined Services CU&SA and the Royal Navy CU&SA.
Fortunate enough to have umpired and scored throughout the world on both tours and competitions. Regularly umpires within the Premier league and at all levels of the game of cricket.
Lectured to umpires and players throughout the UK and Europe on the Laws 2000 Code. Undertaken Introductory Umpire and Scorer courses to a plethora of European Countries. Has also run ACU&S courses in Malaysia. Recently ran course in Israel and an ECB Umpires course for prospective First Class Umpires.
Now a well-established Tournament Referee having refereed at various ICC European Tournaments. An Umpire Manager of considerable experience having undertaken this duty at many ICC European Tournaments, and Military tournaments, throughout Europe.

David Jukes

Profile:

David joined the European Cricket Council in 1997 and has moved on to become one of the most experienced Tournament Referees in the ICC (Associate/Affiliate) Development Programme. David remains extremely active in ECB coaching circles and is also a qualified Umpire. A true European, David was born in England, works in Belgium, and lives in France.

Qualifications:

Playing: Played a bit of Cricket Association in his prime, and has taken the field for the Combined Services as a player, coach, umpire and manager.

Management: Has served on number of executive committees over the years, he has managed touring parties to Zimbabwe (1998), West Indies (2003) and New Zealand (2005). Will take the British Combined Services to Namibia and South Africa (2009).

Coaching: A highly active coach, he became a member of the ECB Coach Education Workforce in 2007 where he is currently employed in a wide number of roles. He became an ECB Staff Coach in 1993 and a Level III Coach in 2000. Founding member Combined Services Cricket Coaches Association CSCCA, has served as a member of the CSCA Executive Committee since 1993.

Umpiring: Qualified at ACU&S GL5 he stood as a member of the South Coast Panel between 2002 and 2003.

Other Information:

Appointed ICC Remote Referee in 2007, he refereed the Intercontinental Cup and World Cricket League Division II in the same year. He has overseen the ICC U19 World Cup Qualifying Competition on three occasions, the ICC European Championships three times and European Indoor Championships on six occasions.
