On arrival at Billund, the airport for Legoland, Dennis discovered that the shuttle bus to Herning, venue for the recent U15-1st Division Tournament, had been cancelled. Thanks to the helpful airport enquiry staff, however, he still managed to reach his destination on time, using a combination of bus, train and taxi. more… Graham Cooper paid a welcome return visit to Copenhagen in a 2-fold visit over the weekend of 18-19 May. The visit coincided with the Colts Play-off matches between Denmark and Germany, and Graham went not only to watch the matches and evaluate the strength of the 2 teams but, more importantly, to officially assess the umpires involved in the games. more… Graham Cooper visited Mechelen to run an Umpiring Seminar for Belgium and Luxembourg Umpires from 7-9 December. Graham Cooper paid 2 visits to Denmark on the weekends either side of Easter where he conducted an ACU&S Part 1 Course that led to the Part 1 Examination. 7 candidates attended during the first weekend, with 5 of them returning for the 2nd and for the exam itself. More... Ray Holyer travelled to Luxembourg on 23 February to run a scoring course in the excellent facilities of the National Sports Stadium. The course was attended by 23 people in total, and split into 2 sessions.
