Coaching
France Cricket is working hard on the coach education programme and since march 2009 France has at least be granted with its Government coaching awards which allow holders to be paid to coach cricket.
France Cricket works closely with the european office to develop the coaching programme.
We must know there are two differents ways to be accredited coach in France :
- Government coaching award to become a professionnal coach/educator
- Federation coaching award to be allowed to coach people
Governement coaching award :
- BPJEPS = initiation
- DEJEPS = coach educator
- DESJEPS = High performance coach
The federation coaching pathway has 4 levels as follow :
- DF1 = initiation (10 hours through 2 days course)
- DF2 = club coach (4 sessions of 6 hours)
- DF3 = confirmed coach (6 sessions of 6 hours)
- DF4 = High performance coach (8 sessions of 6 hours)
