There is a structured level of education to meet all needs whether you want to umpire at local level or on the international stage.


Umpiring


Introduction to umpiring course- An entry level course for players, parents and anyone interested in learning laws and field-craft techniques. It takes approximately 2.5 hours and is run by local tutors. There is no exam and there is no qualification attached to this course.


ICC Europe Level 1 Umpire Qualification - This is a qualification level and is aimed at new umpires who are umpiring in the lower levels of their league structure. There is no prior experience needed to join this course.


ICC Europe Level 1a Umpire Qualification - This qualification is aimed at those umpires who aspire to the top level of their league structure and aspire to be nominated for the ICC European Panel.


ECB ACO Level 2C - This is aimed at those umpires who aspire to the ICC Europe Elite Panel.


Scoring


Scoring is key part to the game and great way to be involved with cricket.


ICC Europe Introductory Scoring Award (ECB ACO Level 1) - The introduction to Scoring Award will be an interactive course and is aimed at those new to scoring.
